HP Renegs on Warranty if You Run Linux
Welcome back!
In a move that's going to leave a LOT of customers (not to mention might-have-been customers!) cold on HP it seems that their warranty will not be honored if you choose to run linux.
Why this is so is a question I haven't seen answered. I can't help thinking that when I buy a computer it's MY business what I run on it and my choice of OS has NOTHING to do with how the hardware does or does not work.
