Debian Etch Declared ‘Stable’

I just noticed (ok, this is a tad old, but still worth mentioning) that after 22 months of development since ‘Sarge’ was released as Debian GNU/Linus 3.0, Debian has finally declared ‘Etch’ stable and released it as Debian GNU/Linux 4.0.
Trivia question: what do the codenames of Debian GNU/Linux have in common?
Release 3.1 is ‘sarge’, 3.0 was ‘woody’, 2.2 was ‘potato’, 2.1 was ‘slink’ and 2.0 was ‘hamm’
