I just ran into something really cool. It’s a forum called ‘<Dream In Code>’. (cool name ‘eh? by the way have you ever dreamed code? I’ve dreamed in Basic and html more than once.) Dream In Code is a forum for programming and web development that doesn’t just limit itself to one language or operating system. This place has areas covering C and C++, Visual Basic, Java, PHP, Perl, Python, html, javascript and quite a bit more.
In a way I’m surpized that I haven’t heard of it before now considering as many times as I’ve gone googling for help with one thing or another, yet it’s been around for six years andhas over 25,000 members.
A really cool thing about it is that there’s literally hundreds of code snippets, programming tutorials, and resources available that you can learn new tricks from and find solutions to problems. It’s free to register. You can talk about all manner of programming and web development problems and issues in the forums. I’ve signed up for it myself and expect to learn a bunch from it.
