In a move that shows somebody out there actualy has some brains, Apple is making good on Steve Jobs’ promise to start selling music that is NOT protected by Digital Rights Management… (that means it’s just music without any of the copy protection garbage that accomplishes nothing but making it harder to use)

SAN JOSE, Calif. AP - Apple Inc. AAPLs iTunes Store started selling thousands of songs without copy protection Wednesday, marking the trendsetting companys latest coup and a model for what analysts say will likely become a pattern for online music sales.
…and Yes, I agree that it’s definitely going to become the future of music sales and it’ll apply to digital movie sales also. Take out the DRM and all of the challenge of defeating it is gone. …And I HOPE The RIAA Doesn’t like it!
