As I expected, the Transformers movie is racking up some serious numbers at the box office… Something over $150 million since it’s opened. And really, I can’t imaigne why not. It’s another great escape that lets you sit back and for a while you can be a kid again watching Saturday morning cartoons that were so much fun.
Besides, who can resist a basic good vs evil story where all the hero’s and villains are super-powered? Make ‘em shapeshifting robots from Cybertron and it gets even better. This one is definitely on my “gotta see as soon as it hits dvd” list.

This flick seemed like it had a hard time figuring out what whether it was a kids campy movie or a serious scifi action flick. The chicks were hot though ;-)
