Anti Virus choices

I’m wondering, what anti virus solutions do most people use? do you use Norton, McAfee, Kaspersky? Or do you prefer the free Anti virus solutions that’re out there? I personaly have used AVG for years. There’s also Avast, ClamWin, Avira AntiVir and a whole host of others.

Which do you prefer?

I’ve been using avast for a while since it’s free. I’ve never liked norton anyway

  i used norton way back in ‘98 or so. around ‘02 or so I started using AVG free. I remember using avast for a while, but I remember there was some reason that I didn’t stay with it. I think it conflicted with something.. probably didn’t like me running a mailserver or somesuch.

I think AVG free is one of the best ones out there.

donÂ´t EVER use norton! itÂ´ll degrade your pc from a P4 to a 486…
i would definitely recommend the freeware solutions from AVG and AntiVir. and if you need a firewall -> ZoneAlarm

I’s currently using NOD32 because everytime it updates it doesn’t eat a lot of resources in my computer unlike with Norton and Mcafee..
