Second Hand Printer Smoke?
Welcome back!
I just read about an Austrailian research team that's discovered that laser printers give off invisible particles as they operate. They say that the worst of them is comparable to cigarette smoke.
It's things like this that make me wonder WHY. Why are things like this being researched in the first place? Aren't there more serious things to research besides what kind of micro particles are produced by an operating laser printer?
Folks, It's a laser. It generates heat on the spot where the beam is focused. I doesn't surprize me that some micro beginnings of combustion or thermal reactions are happening. Why is this surprizing them?
