In today's internet I don't doubt that a large percentage of the web sites in existence are blogs. That's a lot of people writing an imense amount of stuff. Sooner or later it had to happen that Advertisers asking "how can I get more exposure for my website and products" would run headlong into bloggers asking "how can I get paid for blogging?". This way the advertisers get the exposure, buzz, and links that they're looking for with blog advertising and bloggers have an opportunity to get paid to blog, writing their opinions and reviews about products, services, and websites while including a link back to the advertiser's website. Smorty's service is easy to use and the site has plenty of FAQ's and instructions, plus the fact that the process is actually pretty simple. Speakng form the blogger's point of view, it actually takes longer to write the blog entry than it does to locate and accept a writing opportunity. Once the blog entry is written and posted, there's a simple confirmation process and then the job is done. The blogger recieves payment on a weekly basis via paypal. I've seen some dire predictions that this form of advertising isn't going to last but I don't believe them. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the same kind of predictions were made about radio and television advertising and we all know how THAT turned out.
