HP & Dell Facing Lawsuits Over Exploding Hardware

That's right. according to an article on IT News there's a lawsuit in the works over some HP and Dell hardware that had "catastrophic failures" that caused fires which seriously injured a girl and gutted a couple of buildings. You gotta wonder just how they're going to fix this one. Somehow I doubt that offering to include fire extinguishers and medical supplies with each new system would quite do the trick. Then again... some people will buy anything.
Actually, I'd probably still be willing to buy a Dell machine... After I made sure that I wasn't getting one of the models that had this nasty little problem
