Big ‘RFID-Everywhere’ Brother Wants To Watch YOU

There’s an article on the Washington Post site that takes a look at the potential of a world with RFID chips embedded in just about anything you can name.
A world in which reader devices, most of which would be connected to the Internet, all over the place. These readers would be able to note the date and time any given chip came within reach of it. Collect this information from enough readers and you can build a very accurate picture of who’s going where, what they’re buying and more.
Analysis of this data would reveal a lot of details about our lives.. most of which is none of anybody’s business but since it’d be possible for somebody to monitor it, it would be only a matter of time before they start to regulate it.
