New Monitor Has 180 Degree Field Of View
Welcome back!
There's a new monitor out that is promising to make possible a 180 degree field of view. What's cool about this (aside from the obvious applications to games) is the fact that it's not going to nuke your checking account to get one. They're talking about a price somewhere in the $125 to $200 range.
The only sticking point is going to be that not everybody is going to have the room to set that baby up. I'll admit it'd make for a whole new level in gaming, especially FPS games like Quake. I just want to know where I'd put it.

It’s quite interesting, even though it will take sometime to make the monitor available commercially. The spherical shape also makes the images look weird. Maybe the need to make the front panel flat, and add left and right spherical wings. aroengbinang.
