Fun With Vikings

I got thinking about our viking friends from the previous entry and it occurred to me that it could easily be the premise for a movie. Yeah, I know, it’s been done before with different people instead of Vikings but it still has potential for some serious fun.
I can just picture it now, the movie opens with Leif McNasty and his boys pillaging a mountain village. As they carry on yelling and screaming their fool heads off like it was some kind of party, the sound sets off an avalanche higher up the mountain.
There is a rumble and next thing you see is Leif looking up to see the wall of snow about to cover the entire village. He has this “Oh S**t!” look on his face and the scene goes black.
A thousand years later these scientists find them and later we see them in super secret lab somewhere under New York harbor where cloning, DNA manipulation and a few classic Science Fiction mechanisms are used to bring old Leif and his motley crew back to life.
There’s the usual back and forth and then somebody who is either evil, a royal klutz, or both manages to let Leif & company find their way to the escape hatch. Next thing you know they’re in New York harbor, preparing to invade the Big Apple in a couple of inflatable boats.
What follows is another 90 minutes of weird yet fun comedy adventure.
