Name Change

Because of some confusion caused by the previous name of this blog and the name of one that was originally to be it’s successor, I’ve decided to change the name of this one to avoid the confusion.
The new name “Old Li2-Crystals”, should be pronounced “Old Dilithium Crystals”
The url and will remain the same and cosmetic things that have the old name on them will be updated as I’ve got time to do it.
[edited to add the following because I wrote the first part kinda in a hurry.]
The original name for this blog was “Dilithium Crystalworks”. Then some months later I bought a new domain name “dilithiumcrystalworks.com”. The original idea was for that domain name to become the new home of this blog. That’s not how it turned out however. I got the new version started and somewhere along the line it took on a life of it’s own and this one steadfastly refused to reach any kind of a stopping point. Then before I knew it, both blogs had sufficient life of their own that the original idea of moving this one has finally died on the vine.
I kinda recognized that fact a while ago when I changed the name of this one to “Dilithium” so that the full “Dilithium Crystalworks” name could go with the domain of the same name. However it just wasn’t right. If nobody else, *I* kept getting them confused and it finally reached the point where a third, and hopefully final, name change was in order. I didn’t want to go too far from the original theme and so did a bit of looking around for the Chemical symbol for Dilithium and settled on “Old Li2 Crystals”.
So there you have it, for those who were curious, the reason for the change.

Well having them both take off with no end of stopping is a good thing right? lol…
It sure beats the alternative ;-)
