I was StumbleUpon-ing around and ran into a collection of photos of some of the weirdest bicycles I’ve ever seen.
There’s a wide variety of design types that range from the thing that looks like a giant wheel that the rider sits inside of to several very tall, impractical contraptions that I’d have to spend months taking top diet pills to burn off enough tonnage to be able to get on it (not to mention getting over a really serious fear of heights!).
I think that my favorite is the one that’s fourth up from the bottom. Instead of normal wheels there’s six spokes that each have a shoe mounted on it. I can just imagine what that thing would sound like racing down the street…. a crowd of people stampeding away from Godzilla’s approach to downtown Tokyo.
