HP Shipping Department Personal Prove Humans Can Live Without Brains

A new record has just been established by HP and while this particular record has only been around long enough to soil it’s crib bedding a bit, I’m already wondering if perhaps it’s going to be broken soon.
There was this story in The Register about a guy that got this really BIIIG honkin box from HP. It was made up of two fairly large boxes that had been taped together.
Within this mega-box was 16 smaller boxes. Each of those contained “(wrapped in foam so they wouldn’t get broken) exactly two sheets of A4 paper”.
32 pages of paper protected by enough packaging to ship no less than 16 complete motherboards.
Without doubt, this has got to be the most ridiculous effort in packaging that I’ve ever heard of. However it is at least actual proof that there are some humans that can in fact live and work without any functioning brain cells.
The only thing I’m wondering now is how they’re going to top this. Perhaps they could charter a space shuttle to deliver a laptop cord.
