Is Your ISP Throttling You?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

That's the question that more and more people are asking after Comcast and then others have been caught interfering with customers net connections by sending false reset packets to both sides of a bittorrent transfer.

Well, to help answer that question, the EFF has released a bit of tactical gear. The software, called Switzerland.

It's a Freeware Open Source tool that tests the integrity of transfers over networks, ISPs, and firewalls. It detects IP packets that have been forged or modified between
clients and inform the user. It also provides copies of the modified packets so that you can prove whats going on if you have to.
