Large Hadron Collider Activated And The World Didn't End

In France the other day the much debated Large Hadron Collider was finally activated and contrary to the beliefs of those who feared that it would create micro black holes which would then destroy the Earth, It didn’t and we’re all still here.

IE8 Beta 2 Eats Memory Like Candy

I just read a very illuminating article on Exo.blog that details the results of testing Microsoft’s latest offering; the Beta 2 version of IE8 and even if you allow for a Beta version having extra debugging code it still comes out not only a loser but a prime example of Microsoft Bloat in action.

New Email Threat I Saw Yesterday

Yesterday I got an email that was a very believable threat. It claimed that the person sending it was receiving virus laden emails from my address. They claimed to have gotten logs from their ISP and were even so kind as to include a copy of said logs.
