Honestly, I think that they’re going overboard and have been for a long time now. Besides which, it’s long past time for them to realize that they’re infinitely better off going after the people who’re ripping off copyrights and making a profit doing so.

These days just about anyone can be the producer / director of their own movie. Not only that, but more and more people do exactly that. Someone gets a new camcorder, some video editing software and an idea. Next thing you know they’re producing their own video masterpiece.

A Quantas Airlines plane had a sudden 300 foot drop in altitude recently and now Quantas is investigating the chance that laptops and other electronics being used by passengers could be to blame for interfering with the plane’s avionics.

This is in spite of the fact that there are still a lot of un-answered questions about how they’re going to comply with privacy laws and what this is going to do to fourth amendment rights.
