Honestly, I think that they’re going overboard and have been for a long time now. Besides which, it’s long past time for them to realize that they’re infinitely better off going after the people who’re ripping off copyrights and making a profit doing so.
These days just about anyone can be the producer / director of their own movie. Not only that, but more and more people do exactly that. Someone gets a new camcorder, some video editing software and an idea. Next thing you know they’re producing their own video masterpiece.

Alexa has for years been the laughing stock of website statistics. It’s only based on the input of those who’re using browsers that have Alexa plugins or the relative few that put Alexa widgets on their sites. This means that Alexa is basing their statistics on a very small percentage of people.
When I first saw the headline “Robot suit for rent in Japan to help people walk”, the first thing that went through my mind was the obvious connection between the words “robotic suit” and Iron Man.

I don’t usually like to quote links from iwon.com because after a while they tend to stop working but I’m making an exception for this one because of the picture they have accompanying the story that looks like it jumped out of a stack of Halloween invitations.
This is in spite of the fact that there are still a lot of un-answered questions about how they’re going to comply with privacy laws and what this is going to do to fourth amendment rights. It’s very possible that use of this kind of surveillance will be in violation of forth amendment protections if used beyond a certain magnification.
