What's baby tech? It's any kind of tech that has to do with babies, their needs and the needs of their parents in taking care of them. The category includes everything from audio and / or video monitors for the baby's room to the latest in leak proof diaper design.
One example of something that's undergone changes over the years is strollers. Time was, just about any stroller or carriage was actually little more than a basic baby buggy with different amounts of decoration.
Now there's as much research and development going into these things as there is for just about any product. They've got all kinds of features, are often made of "space age materials" (ultra lightweight plasitcs) and have an ever increasing number of accessories.
The one thing that's worth noting is that while it can sometimes be difficult these days, it's a very good idea to find a retailer that carries stuff that's not made in China. With the problems that's come out of there in the last couple years I would not recommend anyone buy something made in China for their children.
