One of the features that I really appreciate about Firefox and other modern browsers is their password managers. They take a lot of hassle out of username & password entry fields, saving you the trouble of having to open and decrypt your “just in case” password file (you DO keep it encrypted, Right? If not, you should).

So the Windows 7 Beta is now out “in the wild” and people are using it. Naturally, since it’s a Beta version, it’s practically guaranteed to have an assortment of bugs that need to be squashed before Microsoft releases the final version. Well, one of those bugs involves that wondrously annoying feature introduced in Vista, the UAC (User Account Control).
